What's new

What changed in the game and on the site. The same list is in the phone: P → Help → What's new.

Contacts made easier

  • Phone → Contacts: pick a player and write to him at once, the box already has the keyboard. Enter sends, and you can write on.
  • Under the box: Ask to ride along and Mute him, and the quick phrases are a list that unfolds at the end.
  • The text box no longer jumps in height while the cursor blinks.

Update 0.5 · Solid traffic and dents on every car

  • Traffic collisions now work: you cannot drive through a car, and a hit on it no longer stops you like a wall.
  • All the traffic crumples: the body is pushed in where it was hit, by any touch and from any side. The harder the hit, the deeper.
  • Your car and the cars of other players crumple too, and the dents are the same for everybody. Repair: 3 seconds in the pits.
  • A hit traffic car moves by the physics: it flies off, spins, bounces off walls and may roll over.
  • The traffic is more careful: it brakes in turns and for a player in its lane, and the indicators are easy to see.
  • Cars that their authors protected do not crumple: Eclipse, Lancer Evo V, X5M, Skoda police, W124, Golf Mk4 and 350Z.

Speed cameras, tasks, drift

  • Speed cameras: every pass now has a message (also in the Messages of the phone): the speed the server measured, the REP and the record of the camera.
  • When a pass does not count, the reason comes as a card: the same camera counts a pilot once in 5 minutes, any two cameras not more often than once in 30 s, and a camera shoots from the limit plus 18 km/h.
  • On the map a camera is labelled with its number and limit ("#3 120"), the number is the same as in the Records on the site. Phone Help → "Speed cameras" explains all the rules.
  • Season tasks: one of the three tasks of a day is now a guide to something you have not done in 21 days: a delivery, solo runs, laps on a circuit, a city event or a ride along (for pilots who have played with partners).
  • Taking part in a city event is a task too: daily (if you have not lately) and, every week, 3 events that paid you. The pay of a task is the same: 200 REP and 100 points a day, 1 000 REP and 400 points a week.
  • Drift: the number on the screen now counts the whole streak and no longer starts again at every bank of 3000 points. Points that wait are sent at once. The rules: Help → Drift duel.

Economy, clans, the helicopter

  • More REP an hour: the drift pays 0.11 REP a point, the radar 1.0 per km/h over the limit (10 to 100), a best lap 75 REP, a class record 450.
  • The limit of an hour: up to 16 000 REP is paid in full, above 24 000 nothing. The drift, the radar, laps, events and deliveries have their own hourly ceilings.
  • The clan that holds a district gives every member +10% REP for what he earns in that district (cop REP does not count).
  • The helicopter can be called from 4 wanted stars in any class, even when the classes are equal (it was 5).
  • Drift: a long streak is banked in parts, about every 3000 points, not only at its end. A streak over 5000 points is no longer lost.
  • Site: every clan of the list opens to its roster (the leader first, the REP of each); the name in the game is remembered between visits.
  • A new page "How much the game pays" (at the bottom of the site): the reward of every activity, the limits and the bonuses; the same in the Help of the phone. The clan page now tells about the +10% bonus.
  • New: the page "What's new" on the site (at the bottom of every page) and in the phone: P → Help → What's new.
  • Subscription: if Patreon is paid but the site still says Free, the subscription page has the button "Refresh the Discord link".
  • DRS Cam page (link at the bottom of the site): a table of what DRS Cam (your phone as a camera for Assetto Corsa) gives on each tier. The camera is for Android only, there is no iPhone version yet.
  • DRS Cam: cinematic background blur, photos in the full resolution of the monitor, timer, grid and exposure; the DRS Street logo stays on photos and videos in Free and Street Racer.
  • Camera: F3 ("next car") and the free camera F7 are switched off, the camera looks only at your own car (the game shows every car to everybody, so the racers would see the cops). Phone Help → "The camera".
  • Phone: a new tile, Contacts (after Profile): the players online, quick phrases and typed messages that show as a card at the top of the screen.
  • Contacts: ask to ride in a friend's car as a passenger. The driver allows it, you stand still and choose Sit in the car; the camera moves into his car (with DRS Cam: a shot from his car).
  • Riding along: not for cops and not during a race, drag or duel; up to 3 passengers, nothing is paid. Phone Help → "Contacts".
  • Phone: Solo and Circuits are one tile now, "Solo & circuits" (the circuits are a fold at the top of its screen); 12 tiles again.
  • DRS Cam: the /cam page now offers the phone app (APK, Android 10+) and the PC program (ZIP, Windows) to download.
  • Site: "Get started" has a last step about DRS Cam (the phone as a camera, optional) with the downloads; the full DRS Cam page is linked at the bottom of the site.
  • Site: the garage shows a "There was an update" message with the list of changes even when there is nothing to download ("Got it").
  • Contacts: you can ride along as a passenger while wanted and in a chase (it refused before): film chases with DRS Cam from a friend's car.
  • Fixed: the F7 closure no longer fights DRS Cam (the sound glitched, the driver model flickered and the game crashed when filming as a passenger).

Season 1 and the prize of the season

  • Season 1 runs from the first day of the launch: the drift night every Friday, the tasks of the day and the week, a pass of 30 levels.
  • The prize of the season: the Nissan 350Z Rachel for Most Wanted pilots who reach level 30 of the pass. It is handed to them for the next season.
  • The Ford Mustang Fox Body (class 3, level 52) replaced the Dodge Challenger: the same power.
  • Phone: "Tasks" is now inside the Profile, the home screen of the phone has room again.
