1. 01

   Assetto Corsa

   You need a legal copy of Assetto Corsa on Steam: buy and install it, start the game once to the main menu and close it.

   Download Content Manager

   Content Manager is a free program. Through it we install the track and the cars and start the game on the server.

   1. Open the download page and press Download: acstuff.club/app
   2. Unpack the downloaded archive into any folder (the desktop will do). Do not run the program from inside the archive.
   3. Run Content Manager.exe. The first time it asks where Assetto Corsa is: it usually finds it by itself, just confirm.

   Install Custom Shaders Patch (CSP) 3.0 or newer

   This is a must. Without CSP of version 3.0 or newer the server runs unstably and the client scripts (the phone, the races, the neon) do not start.

   1. In Google type "csp 3.0 assetto corsa" and download the archive (.zip) of version 3.0 or newer.
   2. Open Content Manager → Settings → the Custom Shaders Patch tab. Pick version 3.0 or newer in the list and press Install. If it is not in the list, drag the downloaded .zip into the Content Manager window and confirm the installation.
   3. Restart Content Manager. The same tab should now show an installed version of 3.0 or newer.

   The names of the buttons may differ a little between versions of Content Manager. If you see "Missing CSP features" when you join the server, your CSP is too old: update it.

   Download the map and the cars

   The map and the cars of the server are on our site, about 7 GB together: check that you have the disk space and keep Content Manager open. Map first, then the car pack: Content Manager installs them for you.

   Installed the game before? Then you only need the update

   This is not for the first install: if you are new here, take the map and the car pack above, the update is already in them.

   Only the files that changed since the last version (a few hundred MB). For pilots who already have the game installed.

   What changed

   • The Dodge Challenger is gone; the Ford Mustang Fox Body takes its place (class 3, level 52, the power of the Challenger).
   • Map: seven spawn points were in closed pockets (the Skyline of slot 47 got stuck in the textures); they are moved.
   • Skyline, Eclipse, Sierra, Prius, RS6: the wheels break from jumps and hits less often.
   • Checkpoints of races and sprints: a slim gate instead of a big beam and ring, you see the road.
   • Drift trial: the clipping points are tidy rectangles on the asphalt, not big bright rings.
   • A checkpoint card under the mirror: which one, how far and what is next; the GPS draws the route to the next one too.
   • Phone -> "Call everyone": an invitation to a race for the whole server, 2, 3 or 5 minutes to get to the start.
   • The neon of the cabinet shows in the game in the open beta (it did not for those who are "free" in the database).
   • The night of the week and the tasks are harder: the targets are about 2.5 times higher, so nothing is done in 20 minutes.
   • Season prize: the Nissan 350Z Rachel for Most Wanted who reach pass level 30 (level 30 is now 9 000 points).
   • A small "online" plate beside the pilot card: how many pilots are on this server now.

   Content Manager did not open? Download the zip and drop it onto the Content Manager window.

   Sign in on the site

   Sign in with Steam (the "Sign in" button at the top): without it the Garage does not know who you are. Discord is only for subscribers.

   Start the game

   Open the Garage: pick a car and a paint, the site finds a server with a free slot and starts the game in Content Manager. Want to catch offenders: take a police car.

   All the slots of your car are taken? Join the queue in the Garage (for the server you picked or for any): when a slot frees, the game starts by itself. A slot that frees while pilots wait for it is kept for them: Content Manager's list will not let you in there.

   In the game

   Press P (the Latin letter): the phone opens. It has all the races and activities, the settings and a Help section with explanations. The big GPS map opens with M. Third-party map apps are switched off on the server: there is one map here, the GPS of the phone. Radars are allowed.

   The traffic is alive. Flash your high beams or sound the horn from behind and the driver ahead makes way: moves into the right lane or pulls over to the kerb and slows down (a stubborn one may not). Do not fly past too close: a scared driver brakes hard, honks or puts the hazards on. Cars slow down before and in turns, put the indicator on, and brake when you stand or pull out into their lane.

   DRS Cam: your phone as a camera (optional)

   You do not need it to play. Move the phone and the camera in Assetto Corsa follows it; you shoot photos and videos like in a camera app. You need a Windows PC and an Android 10 or newer phone on the same Wi-Fi.

   Install it first. A ZIP: unpack it and run DRS Cam.exe. It connects the game with your phone.

   Install it second. An APK: install it on the phone; Android may ask for permission to install from the browser.

   Open the app on the phone and the program on the PC on the same Wi-Fi: they find each other by themselves. The free version needs no sign-in, the paid features open after you sign in to DRS Street.
